Christopher D. Ackerman (Associate, Princeton), joined Sokol,
Behot and Fiorenzo in September 2006. Chris received his B.A.
from Rutgers University, and his J.D. and Masters of Studies
in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School. Prior to joining
the Firm, he interned with New Jersey DEP and clerked for
the Vermont Public Service Board. He is a resident of Navesink,
New Jersey, and is admitted to the New Jersey Bar.
Chris recently became the first Attorney in New Jersey to
be recognized as a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design, Accredited Professional). This accreditation is given
by the U.S. Green Building Council to professionals who demonstrate
a comprehensive understanding of green building practices
and principles, enabling him to assist clients in all aspects
of this rapidly emerging and complex new industry.
