Mr. Bennett is a Partner in the firm. He is a former staff attorney with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (1973 to 1976) and with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (1976 to 1984), where he served as counsel to the Division of Water Resources, as Director of the Office of Regulatory Services, in the Office of the Commissioner, and as counsel to the Governor's Drought Coordination Office. He is based in the firm's Princeton office.
Mr. Bennett's practice includes extensive dealings in environmental due diligence, insurance coverage on behalf of the insured, multi-party spill litigation, hazardous site remediation, agricultural contamination, ISRA compliance, noise compliance, "brownfields" development, air and water pollution and related matters. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association. Bart is a graduate of Ursinus College and Boston College Law School, and is a member of the New Jersey Bar.
