The Regulatory Practice Group is supervised by Hackensack Senior Partner Leon J. Sokol and comprises four areas:

Health. We represent several providers of health services with regard to compliance with state and federal regulations and defense with regard to alleged violations. Our experience includes contracts for practitioners and practice groups and matters involving limits on liability. We represent bio-medical companies who are regulated by state and federal agencies.

Insurance. Our insurance practice includes representation of large self-insurance pools providing health, property and casualty, and environmental coverage to its members. We appear before the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance regularly, and assist private companies in designing insurance products for special needs.

Consultants and Design Professionals. We represent a variety of engineering and architectural firms with regard to contract review and negotiations, construction document review, professional liability claims, resolution, environmental impairment claims, as well as general corporate matters.

Telecommunications. We serve as New Jersey Counsel to a major international cable company, and represent other entities in regulatory matters before the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and the FCC.
